Exams suck
I have no idea how well I would do, everyone else seems so damn sure they'll do well, everyone else seems to know the list of Top Ten Most Obscure Pathogens.
Last year I spent my exams mucking around, trying to stay afloat in a world full of unfamiliar questions. But it was OK, since everyone else was. This year, I might know my stuff better than I did last year, but the competition certainly has done that too. And more.
OK. Maybe the people who create that impression, tend to be those loudmouthed showoffs that you feel like strangling when they brag about their competence in memorising weird facts, while you struggle to cram in the work you've left to the last minute.

Well, I can't say they don't deserve to feel proud for having managed to get into one of the courses with the highest entry-bar, but perhaps a healthy dose of humility would keep things balanced out?
It doesn't pay to be prat in front of others.
Not when their 'audience' are their fellow classmates, heh.
